About Hudson
With over three decades of service in law enforcement, Lieutenant Hudson Cutno began his career with the New Orleans Police Department in 1992. Throughout his tenure, he’s served in a wide range of roles including street patrol, investigations, traffic fatalities, and as Assistant Commander of the Police Academy.
A lifelong educator, Hudson spent nine years as a full-time academy instructor and ten years as an adjunct professor at Upper Iowa University, teaching emergency management, supervision, and public safety courses. He holds a bachelor’s from Tulane, two master’s degrees, and is currently a doctoral candidate in criminal justice leadership at Walden University.
Hudson’s passion for training and curriculum development led to the founding of Frontline Training Academy, where he continues to empower the next generation of public safety leaders.
